The USA is a nation of immigrants. Most of us are here because our ancestors came to this country seeking a better life.
What if you couldn't: speak, read, write, practice spiritual beliefs, associate with certain people, the way that you wanted to? (I'm not talking about parents/teachers helping you to do the right thing.) I'm talking about the government taking away these rights.
Think about the video "Escape from Berlin" or click on the link to watch it again. What would you do to fight for freedom? "Escape to Berlin"
for freedom i will swim even if it is miles far away ,i will escape even if it takes me a month or more, i will do any thing even if no one did it before i will try it just to be free and do where ever i want and live a great and happy life.

Hadjira, please don't apologize for your comment. I really enjoy reading what you think about things. Part of becoming a good writer is to be confident in expressing yourself. Another is to realize when you have used a word too many times. So, congratulations! You are becoming a better writer.

When you're little or grown-ups you want to make the world a safe place where dreams can come true and u can do whatever you want. But if dreams and whatever you want is taken away from you, you become really sad. But if that happens to me then what i will do for freedom is that first i encourage the people to become brave and take a step. Then more and more people will also come with us and then we will say to government to help us or we make posters, groups, and write things to government on a paper to help us, i think again and again telling the government might be they help us
