Summer time!
Hello everyone!
I hope you are enjoying your break from school so far. I just got word from Ms Bruce that I'll actually have a classroom next year! I'm very excited about that. I have big plans to set up a classroom library with all kinds of reading materials. Let me know what you like to read, and I'll keep an eye out for it. (That's an idiomatic expression. Don't worry. I won't lose my eye.) Here's a picture of a strange and beautiful flower that I saw the other day in my son-in-law's backyard. Does anyone know what kind of flower this is? Make a post to say hello. Let everyone know what you're up to.

Hello Hadjira & Andrea! I am relaxing a lot. You crazy kids wore poor,little, ol' Miss Lyons out! HA! I hope you're both having fun and doing something to improve your minds and bodies. You need to be strong for the next school year coming up. What's this about Andrea NOT in ESL? Why is that? Girl, you better study hard! You can come visit me in my new room. I think I'm in 216 next year. Is that Mr Killian's old room? I can't remember. Have fun!

It's hard to believe that in one week, I go back work. Before that happens though, I'm going to Florida for a little sand and sun!

Hi everyone! @Karen, How's life in high school? I hope you're doing very well. You are such a smart and talented young woman. Let me know how life is treating you. I wish it were summer time again! It's so cold outside. I guess that means you all have more time to do reading and writing (that includes blogging). Yeah!!!
